In 1982, botanist Hiroshi Utsunomiya planted an unidentified seed which had been found in one of the Asada tombs, located in the town of Yamaguchi, on the south-west side of the island of Honshu. Twelve years later, the plant which grew finally blossomed and flowered: a new variety of Magnolia Kobus. The seed dated from 2300 years earlier. These phenomena only strenghten our belief in the wonderous miracles found in God's nature.
