You clearly have no concept of politics, international relations or how the UN operates. Recognition is when States agree that another entity is also a "State". The Palestinians cannot be recognized until they agree to put Israels security as a high priority along with their own. The Palestinians will never be recognized as a State as long as their government consists of Terrorists whether elected or not. An earlier post clearly states that the Palestinians will never recognize Israels right to exist. Therefore there is no foundation on which to build a peace agreement. As long as you have intransigence operating the Palestinian government there can be no peace. Perhaps what Israel should do is wait for proper unbiased elections in the West Bank and Gaza. Once the new government is elected and clearly states its position Israel will know exactly who it has to deal with today and in the future.
