If you are basing your positions on your understanding of history as stated in your post, I am afraid that explains why you are so utterly rejectionist towards peace and reconcilliation. It may help you to read an Israeli historian, Simha Flaapan, who wrote extensively about the birth of the modern state of Israel and the tremendous mythology surrounding the event. Arab rejectionism is not holding up peace TODAY...perhaps in the past, but not today. In fact, they are standing in line, waiting to do business with Israel-but only after Israel proves it wants peace.
