Not that there's anything wrong with having another Soros-astro-turf funded Obama friendly lobbying group that happens to be internationalist, skeptical of Israel, and friendly to Palestinian claims. Merely that having a seed core of ex-Meretzniks and a gaggle of post-liberationist new agenda new agey acolytes doesn't make this particularly a Jewish organization. And it is "good for Israel" in the sense that trials by water were good for witches. If Israel drowns then we'll know it was innocent in its final days although, of course, pace many of the statements of J Street, guilty as sin at its very birth. This tells us btw more than we needed to know about the kind of Israel many of the highest echelon in the Obama administration really want to live with--but Israel may never be that much of a Rainbow Coalition type of place.
