Assuming that the palestinians sat down today for direct talks ( which they are refusing to do ) there are so many difficult issues which are going to cause problems there is no chance you will work it all out in 2 years even if you aim for it. - borders, settlements, Jerusalem, refugees, transpport, recources like water. Israels security. Take your sympathy for palestinians out of this and it becomes obvious its asking the impossible if you want a deal that will work properly ( after the celebrations & it has to act like a real state not a virtual one ). What happens when the palestinians start saying we were cheated just 22% of mandate Palestine 5800km what happens when groups like Hamas start demanding more land or something else they didnt get and they start a campaign of terror? Are we going to have to do more deals where Israel gives more land or will we say no and the palestinians accept it. There are just to many problems to sort out PROPERLY in 2 years. If Obama tries to rush this for the sake of his legacy we will end up with a bad deal that we will be lucky if it lasts 2 years before major problems set in.
