and what constitutes a "moderate" rebel? Today I am moderate because I don't believe in religious laws and decapitation of my enemies is that it? Today's moderate can become tomorrow's extremist. It only takes one event to completely change someone's life. And regardless, what will prevent these weapons and supplies from ending up in the hands of Al Qaeda, the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant, the Al Nusra Brigade, Hezbollah, or any of the thousands of Islmic fighters who've descended upon Syria from Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East or elsewhere? Every group fighting in this conflict has an opposing ideology to some other group. They're all fighting the Syrian government and each other. Arming them only further fuels the chaos.
