The tax collections are a bilateral matter between Israel and the PA, and none of Clinton's affair, the US is not a party to the agreement, which the PAviolated by running to the UN for a state instead of negotiating with Israel. Congress also wants to cut off funding to the PA for this reason. The tax collections are not the PA's property, its Israel's money collected from import duties on goods arriving through Israeli harbors and airports, which the PA hasnolegal right to use. Israel agreed to transfer the tax collections to the PAas part of the Oslo process which Abbas has abandoned - but still wants to use Israeli ports for its goods and receive the Israeli collections as if it was a right!!! Clinton is too dishonest or to dumb to do the right thing. Bibi should hang tough on this, Congress, which HAS THE FINAL SAYon US aid to the PA, wil,l support Israel of this, not Clinton and our idiot boy in the White House. Bibi owes Obama nothing on this. Our law mandates a cut off of US funds and recognition if the PA abandons Oslo or firms a Hamas unity regime, they have done both.
