Bibi is one clever cookie. With the rotting smell of 1400 dead Gazans still in the world's nostrils and the stench of Lebanon II not yet gone, and with a third intifata about to break out in the West Bank, he's about to launch a peace offensive. But the truth, as usual, was spoken only days ago by our dear Avigdor Lieberman: "I've reached the conclusion that even if we do retreat to the 1967 borders, it won't bring an end to the conflict," he declared. "Even if we retreat to the last centimeter, nothing will change." (Ha'aretz 12/27/09). Bibi's two-year "peace process" will be yet another cover for tightening the Israeli grip on East Jerusalem, fracturing the West Bank into Palestinian pieces, and bludgeoning the people of Gaza into submission. Additionally, it will provide excellent cover for attacking Iran.
