The world is tired of Israeli transgressions followed by stonewalling. The stonewalling does not make Israels image better. Cooperation would actually be a good PR trick for Israel. It would leave jaws hanging open around the world and it would actually raise Israels credibility in the world. The facts of the case, as usual, are not the most important factor. It is the attitude and international cooperation which are important. It is in these critical areas that Israel invariably and predictably comes up short. Very short. One of the most memorable events of the 2006 war is that Israel bombed and killed four UN Observers at their post. The UN launched an investigation. Israel refused to cooperate. These are the kind of things which make Israels reputation. Killing and stonewalling followed by more killing and stonewalling has brought Israel to its low point today and it is still Israels behavior of choice.
