Israel would bomb Lebanon's bridges, it's gas stations, it's infrastructure and the poorer neighborhoods of it's capital. This would lead to an easy capitulation and Hizbollah would vanish. Now that was a war plan! It was a war plan anyone who was not an idiot could see would fail. Please notice that the psycho-right refuses to deal with the question 'what next'? Anyone who wishes to pursue war should have as their goal what is next and they had better have a goal which is both achievable and advantageous. Right now Syria is suing for peace. What does the psycho-right want? Clearly not peace, or they would at least talk to Syria. What the psycho-right wants is a war. Why? Because a war would make everything wonderful. Prove that starting a war with Syria simply for the fun of it will accomplish anything that talking to them couldn't? I can. It would end up with Israel in a bloody occupation or with a rabidly Islamist nation on it's border. Oh boy! More War, More Fun!
