Hamas sees its great advantage in keeping Gazans dependent on them and the UN, rather than giving them a decent life, like their brothers on the West Bank. They prefer to shoot thousands of rockets at Israeli communities across the border, than to live in peace, despite NO OCCUPATION. They need Israel as the bogeyman to keep their people enslaved to their corrupt and power-hungry selves. When the border crossings with Israel were open, it was Hamas that shelled them, leading to their closing. Forgot that?
