They sit around in a sort of control enclave doing things on computers instead of being in reach of the patients. There seems to be no real communication with the doctors, who regard themselves as a class above the rest of the nurses, and the patients in general. The whole system is over bureaucratic, and as with most things in Israel the idea that they are providing a service paid for by the tax payer, just has no meaning. You are treated like dirt, ignorant. As reported previously the OECD emphasized the total lack of what is known as "bed side manner" among the staff towards the sick. NO COMPASSION!
