People talk about freedom to choose. My neighbor's son was refused work in a hotel because he will not work on Shabbat. Is that fair? The Mayor talks about people being free to do as they like on their DAY off, emphasis on DAY, meaning one day. Give us a normal two-day weekend like the rest of the planet and we can do away with business on Shabbat. I completely understand people needing to shop on a Saturday if they work 6 days a week. Get with the rest of the planet, have Sundays off as well, and this will not be as much of an issue.
