What's wrong with pointing out to a friend where the friend may be in error? You're not doing anyone any favors by supporting wrong-headed policy. In such situations the error of ways needs to be pointed out and reasonable solutions may be suggested in a civil way. It's idiotic for Dershowitz to insist that all Jews march in lock-step with Israel's lame, abrasive government.
