I tend to agree with M. Ahrens, always a very good scientist and politician. I hadn't heard from him in a long time, prior to this article. He is an excellent strategist. That said: the best defense is a good offense in these situations. I don't know how many rockets it will take to take out those thousands of small, crude, Kassams? But what about Katys, Grads and Power Missiles (Iranian)? Will it suffice? Should Sderot cost billions or perhaps some other measures found. Israel's mistake: withdrawing from the Strip on a wishful hope that it would start a peace process. The Arab does not want peace..he wants Israel, all of it. Israel is confused, and frailing about..like a mixed child...striking back without purpose..a few hundred PALs killed. So what? They have millions of Muslims to lose in this quest for a radical Islamic country, from the Med. and beyond the Jordan..to and including Iran. Read the Koran for advice my poster friends. The Jews and Infidels are their ultimate targets.
