Women of the Wall's mission is to gain the social and legal right to pray out loud with tallit and tefillin and read Torah collectively in the women's section of the Kotel. Women of the Wall is a pluralistic women's only prayer group - including Orthodox women and as such Robinson's Arch is not a suitable prayer space for the group. The struggle of Women of the Wall is not a faceoff against the Ultra-Orthodox but rather a fight for the civil right of freedom of religion and equality in religion to be applied in the particular public space that is the **women's section** of the Kotel plaza. While I may agree that the Haredim currently lack the 'social and ideological capacity' to even understand Women of the Wall's struggle, that is not a reason to call 'teiku' but rather a very good reason why the Kotel should not be under the sole control of the Ultra Orthodox. When the Kotel will be administered by a diverse board consisting of representatives of the entire Jewish world (half of whom are women...) all prayer groups will be welcomed and find their place under the sun at the Kotel.
