The need to preempt Iran and export gas to Egypt was the reason the government gave to push through its controversial plan for Israel's natural gas. Now, this reason may no longer exist.08:52 31.08.15 | 1 comments
Very Jewishly, I have three comments on your three comments: 1. Israel knew back in 2006 that it would need to release terrorists with blood on their hands to get Shalit back. He and his family have had to suffer the unimaginable only for an Israeli government to find an even worse deal: to give Hamas a free advertising campaign before Palestinian elections. Bravo. 2. Don't get omnipotent. Israel didn't invent anti-Semitism. It's not what Israel does or doesn't what creates it. Not now, nor in the 1930's. 3. Israel has pooh-poohed every sound attempt to overcome that clumsy concept of "Hasbarah" with a decent, updated, crucially vital and ongoing defensive PR campaign. Now it's too late to turn the tidal wave of media elicited anti-Semitism around. The tsunami of world-wide politically correct anti-Semitism is unleashed against Jews and Israel alike, under the term "anti-zionism" or "anti-Israel".
