why did Bush loose interest in Afghanistan so quickly? no oil there - only dust, poor people and some crazy fanatics. on the other hand Iraq: oil, oil, oil. Looking at the oil deals the American corporations just made in Iraq one knows that oil explains everything Bush does. Why bother attacking Saudi Arabia? Another war is a lot more expensive then shuffing 20 billion down the king's family's throat and gaining access to the oil for another few decades. Exporting democracy does not equate to starting a war of agression. Bush was never about democracy. Even in the USA he does everything he can to undermine democracy.
