What should now be their message to countries like the U.S., Canada, Germany, Italy, Holland, Czech Republic and Poland....??? 1. If you want us to restart peace negotiations, then for God's sake push your Israeli buddies into a total freeze of any further settlement activity in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. That's the absolute minimum we can expect from a nation that is honestly interested in peace. 2. If you do not support us at the UN, wie (the Palesti- nians and the Arab League) will give up once and for all the 2-state solution and never accept Israel as a sovereign state. 3. Countries, who oppose the Palestinian statehood bill, will in the future be excluded from lucrative oil- contracts in Lybia and other countries. 4. If there will be another outbreak of violence because of a negative vote at the UN, we will carry the next Intifada into the capitals of those Western countries, who opposed us at the UN, in other words, to Washington D.C., Toronto, Berlin, Rome, Amsterdam, Prague and Warsaw. Ha, I know, it sounds like blackmail, but that is indeed the message, I would expect from a strong Palestinian and Arab leadership, that wants to be succesful next week, at least behind closed doors. Fact is, if you are dealing with hypocrites, (religious) zealots and (politi- cal) thugs, playing "nice nice" won't bring you anywhere....
