Israel should start with a predictable reality that will exist soon then backtrack to today to formulate a policy. That's fine. But what seems lost on some people is that the big picture is completely out of Israeli control. Israelis are wasting their energy trying to influence things that are not theirs to influence. Instead of being 5% diplomacy Israel should be 99% diplomacy now. Admit what the Palestinians will soon have. Load your weapons. And let diplomats have all the power.
