    As an American, and a lawyer, I think Pollard got what he deserved, but I also have always been more interested in the definition than the punishment. Pollard was guilty and treason is a serious crime. That having been said, he certainly has served a long time for his crime--and a crime it was! But I am not big on excessive punishments, just acknowledgements of bad actions. Problem is, this is not a particularly good time for Obama to show generosity towards Israel to whom he has been so excessivel generous tha it makes sober people want to throw up! I am sorry Pollard; yo are trapped by Israel's excessive splurging at the trough. Israel is due for no more concessions from the US for perhaps a thousand years. Has a nice Biblical ring, doesn't it!
