We never should have listened to Dayan after the '67 war. The Arabs started it with the sole goal to destroy the nation state of the Jewish people. The IDF should have gone on to Damascus and into Jordan and never given any control of the Temple Mount to the Waqf. Unconditional surrender is far better than armistice. We have been far too benevolent from that day forth. It is time for a change. It is ridiculous to win a war against a savage enemy bent on your destruction only to lose it later by being overly benevolent in peace. The truth is the Palestinians are the sole remaining "refugees" from the WWII era only because their "Arab brothers" really don't care. They could have been resettled generations ago, living a decent life today, like all of the many 100s of millions of others affected by war. And, they don't want just one new county, they want Israel too. That is why they refuse to accept Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people. Israel is still constantly threatened. Jews can't even live in peace in our own country. This whole debate about the "territorys" and so called "right of return" is like a festering wound. It is long past the time to do the surgery one time and end it. The Jews of the world will not permit giving any of the Jewish portions of Jerusalem away and there never was and never will be a "right of return" to Israel for Palestinians. If you think your "international law" tells people they can't settle in their homeland because they are Jewish you better change your so called law. It will take more than foolish words from the likes of you.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin, February 16, 2016.

If Merkel also criticizes Israel, life is not a piece of cremeschnitte

The Israeli reaction to Der Spiegel's report on the German chancellor's frustration with Netanyahu was ridiculous, even Orwellian; as if Israelis were aliens who had just landed from another planet.
