The interview of Rabbi Broyde (for subscribers ;o) so I only saw the headline) said that he saw nothing wrong with his own behavior. It *is* wrong though! Michael, using a pseudonym to participate in an online community is not wrong. But this man is an Emory Law School professor, and a judge for the Beth Din in America. He was using a pseudonym about matters pertaining to his work, as a scholar, and a rabbi. It is deceit, impersonation, what he did. If it were about playing an online game, or writing a hobby blog under a pseudonym, that would be different, agreed.
