It's beautiful that this article accepts the value of all kinds of worship, but it fails to include non-Orthodox Judaism in its calculations; to presume that the Orthodox mainstream is the Jewish mainstream is self-centered and simply inaccurate. Also, even within the Orthodox framework, one must recognize that just as the concept of a post-historic Messiah was a rabbinic e.i. human innovation to reconcile Judaism with humanitarian values, so too is most of Jewry's abandonment of the Messianic idea, including the Third Temple. Constantly attempting to cover up for the Orthodox mainstream's problems by reminding Orthodox Jews that they are not the only people on the planet only reveals how deep those problems are.
