The great American novelist Mark Twain, who in his early career worked as a journalist. developed a most magnificent insight into the workings of the press, leading to his famous quote - "If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed; if you do read the newspaper you are misinformed." So Bradley, you are taking self-vindicating statistics from a media machine which is hell bent on demonizing Israel, and you use this information to vindicate your own positions, stating this BBC statistic loudly in your post today, whilst forgetting to report other small minor stuff, like Abbas's refusal to come to the peace negotiation table, or his recent appointment of Hussein Fayyad a terrorist mastermind of the 1979 Coastal Road massacre, killing 38 cilvilians as a personal adviser, You, the BBC and just about the rest of the media world choose to ignore these little distractions, but rather choose to place in front-page print any smallest issue you can get hold of to criticize Israel. The BBC pole result is demonstration of how collectively, you, the biased press have been able to manipulate the public. The tail wags the dog, and it does so very efficiently. You BBC pole is testimony to this.
