the lack of proper public transportation made life in the TA area very difficult, to say the least. getting into the city took minimum 30-45 minutes from a nearby city (Herzliya). not to mention shabat... the transportation network in israel in shambles, and doesn't seem to be a real concern for planners. yet, the population density is getting higher, and vehicle traffic increasing making jams even more likely then before. i don't understand what made people so unwise in this area over in Israel which is tiny to begin with.
