School in Sheikh Jarrah 'could constitute a threat to the facility and its combatants,' state says. NGO: 'The government has found a new excuse to prevent building schools in East Jerusalem.'00:01 11.02.16 | 0 comments
Aluf Ben knew the parameters for negotiations well before he encountered these professors. The Israelis and the Palestinians know it well too. What has plagued past negotiayions and will continue to in upcoming ones is not Palestinian penchant 'to miss opprtunities' but Israel's refusal to abide by UN resolution 242 as the basis for negotiations. The Palestinian will not give it up and they should not because they will be left with nothing and little something is not better than nothing. The negotiations should evolve on how best to IMPLEMENT 242. Taba was a move in the right direction but Israel broke off the negotiations. So was the proposed Geneva accord but that was just a mental exercise by well meaning people.
