As an American Jew, I agree with the Danna Harman's article. I think that American Jews are not getting the message that Judaism is under attack in other parts of the world. From newly emerging antisemitism in Hungary and the Ukraine, to trying to ban circumcision in Germany, to anti-kosher laws being passed in New Zealand and still being enforced in places like Sweden since the 1930s. It would be nice if Jews in all those places had the same freedom of religion as Jews living in America. I think American Jews forget the whole world is not like America.
