First and foremost everyone knows One State would mean the end of the current Jewish State from the time of the new states inception. Why Israel supporters are grasping at it is simple. If they make One State acceptable to Palestinians then they get to keep the land and keep the settlers where they are. Fact is Israel is required to withdraw and under International Law it should not be rewarded in any form for its criminality in breaking the Fourth Geneva Convention. One State would never work. Commonsense says Israeli's have inflicted far too much harm on Palestinians for them to share any kind of home with Israel. They are entitled to live in their own state and are pursuing the legal course. Israels call for a single state now is born out of guilt, fear and a last ditch Zionist attempt to scam keeping the land.
