Zionist Israel is a State premised on 'separate development', exactly parallel with Apartheid South Africa although differing in detail. This very useful new report illustrates the extent to which Israel's leadership - over more than a generation - have been comfortable with apartheid. Now hold on for a rocky ride as civilised people on earth demonstrate - once again - that Apartheid is not acceptable and cannot survive. Many Israelis must know this already. If you are one of them, this is the time to bring an end to the separatist nightmare and demand real democratic choice in your country. The most crucial change that's needed is to revoke the prohibition on anti-Zionist parties from competing in Israeli elections. No real democracy legitimises a substantial, well-informed body of opinion whose political platform is based on universalistic human principles. Why can't the Israeli public have a choice that includes calling an end to separate development and instead implementing the same one-person, one-vote democratic norm that pertains in the civilised world? What's so scary about choice?

How I learned to fall in love with sanctions

Sanctions did not devastate South Africa or Iran. Nor will they destroy Israel; above all it will extricate Israel from a trap it is unable to get out of by itself.
