As a professional in the tourism industry for over 20 years I can vouch for the veracity of this article. Israeli tourists, particularly in groups, are known as rude and unpleasant, a very hard market. Many hotels and restaurants have the aforementioned 'no Israelis' rule, complaining about items stolen and extra time needed to clean after them. I have seen them shouting at service providers such as drivers, guides, waiters and hotel personnel, and leaving public restrooms in appalling conditions. Very demanding yet disrespectful and cheap. Sorry, but that's how it is, leaves terrible impression.
