Understandable as Israel has rebuffed all American efforts aimed at establishing a reasonable starting point for direct talks. But what is of keen interest is that there may be a part of the resolution requesting calls for international sanctions against the Jewish settlements in the form of a boycott of businesses based there. Testing the waters to determine what Israel should expect if it rejects a UN supported unilateral declaration? I do think so.
