Don't declare victory yet, Israel haters. And don't think you've lost, Israel lovers. I'm reminded of NY Times interview with an Arab prisoner years ago, which went something like this: "We were cold, so we asked for blankets. We complained, we made noise. So the Israelis came in and took our mattresses. We complained some more. The Israelis returned our mattresses, and we were thankful. This is how Israelis neogitate." Get it? Israel will hold out, then appear to give in. The Arabs will think they've won. But won what? The right to talk to an Israeli government, a right which they had all along?
