Given over half a century of vendetta and provocation, Israel has unneccessarily created a huge security problem for itself and for the world. In the name of self-defense, it occupied and oppressed the indigenous people of Palestine, provoking desperate violent reaction, and inciting terror against Israel. Terror calls forth terror, and peace calls forth peace. Refusal to return to the 1967 borders merely galvanizes the majority of Palestinians to oppose their oppressors and land thieves. Even with full return to 1967, it may take centuries of tolerant suffering and patience for the enmity and violence now to die down. Maybe a fence on the 1967 border may be unavoidable. But healing and peace will be accelerated by consistently and unconditionally GIVING GENEROUSLY, BY DOING GOOD TO THE OTHER SIDE, NOT EVIL. Inhumanity and unreason is met with the identical response. Give, and you will get in return. Steal, injure and kill, and you will be dealt with as a band of thugs.
