A a careful reading shows that the Israeli Foreign Ministry was completely correct in their approach. Unfortunately, too many of your readers took the opportunity to bash Israel or Netanyahu. While one is sympathetic with the genuine peaceful demonstrators, one must also be firm with a rapists and those who destroy property or loot, etc. When national treasures are destroyed and public buildings are burned that goes beyond peaceful protest. The peaceful protesters should police their ranks to make sure that the hooligans don't use their worthy cause as a cover. I am dismayed that so many of your readers are fixated on attacking Israel. Worthy criticism is to be welcomed. Reflexive anti-Israel comments show that too many readers are rooting for Israel's destruction.
