Qualitative Military Advantage is US law. Israel is entitled to whatever they can justify to a friendly Congress in closed sessions. Eric Cantor has already pledged to head off any call to cut aid to Israel by burying the aid in the huge Defense Dept. budget. The US currently stores at least a billion dollars in ordinance in Israel that Israel can use whenever they have to. That could be tripled. We are talking about a Defense Dept. that is losing up to a billion dollars a year in fuel in Afghanistan and Iraq with no oversight whatsoever. When Congress, the State Dept., Defense Dept. the President, the Treasury Dept. and the MSM are all firmly committed to the "unshakable bond", money is not a problem. The only problem for Israel would be if upgrading the "security fence" would be one of the security needs Barak is talking about. The EU would never permit something like East Berlin had to go up today.
