As long as Israel seems eager to make peace, nobody can blame them that peace never comes. It helps Israels cause that very few people seem to be able to tell real peace talks from fake peace talks. This is understandable, since there have never been real peace talks, so they think that the current fakery is real. I doubt that Sarkozy is fooled by Israels fakery, but he is a kibitzer on the world stage and he hates to see America hogging all the limelight. If Israel accepts Sarkoy's proposal, it will be strictly for "extra credit" since the current fakery will stamp Israels peace ticket for at least a couple of years.
