Here is a quote from the revised version of this story after the IDF went in. "According to one of the sources, the Palestinian outpost "turned into a security problem the moment there was no fence separating the caravan dwellers from Israeli territory." What a JOKE!!! Israel CHOOSE a the path of the fence/wall that put hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and Israelies on the same side of the fence. Since when did separation suddenly matter? And if it matters now, why hasn't the wall/fence been re-routed to exclude all of the Palestinian owned cities, villages, and land? Why hasn't the IDF moved ALL of the settlers from the "wrong" side of the fence? There was absolutely no Security risk here. This makes a mockery out of every IDF decision that is made for supposed "Security" reasons. It makes a mockery out of the fence/wall.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin, February 16, 2016.

If Merkel also criticizes Israel, life is not a piece of cremeschnitte

The Israeli reaction to Der Spiegel's report on the German chancellor's frustration with Netanyahu was ridiculous, even Orwellian; as if Israelis were aliens who had just landed from another planet.

Boycott is the only way to stop the Israeli occupation

Aluf Benn's proposal for Israel's left to establish a base of domestic support for its positions is hopeless considering the brainwashing and increasing extremism of our society.
