It's the Middle East. Unstable regimes. Islamic fundamentaliism.. Masses poorly educated and reliant on highly biased or censored media to form a view of the world. Political corruption and nepotism. Poverty. Emotional rhetoric. Iraniian meddling. So... Make peace if you can with your neighbours,, ok. But dont ever trust them to keep the peace. Rely on military security. Build up your economic strength and power. Keep secure borders and build trade and political links with the rest of the civilised world. For at least the next sixty years. Hope that democracy and education change the Middle East eventually... Thats how I see Israeli strategy. And in their place, I would do exactly tthe same.
