"The past is prologue" the historians say. Never was this more true than in Israel. Just yesterday your Ambassador to my country announced in a speech at a Maryland college that the Palestinian rejection of Ze'evi's "state" was evidence of the Arab unwillingness to accept peace with Israel, just as they did later at Camp David, and are now doing by refusing recognize Israel as "the nation-state of the Jewish people." Gee, why did they reject the "State of Ishmael"? I wonder.
