At the end of November, at the UN GA, the world voted, as it does every year, on a resolution titled 'Peaceful Settlement of the question of Palestine' and Israel, US, Australia and a few small island nations stood in isolation against 165 countries. Don't like the UN? What about the NAM counties? They regularly issue statements condemning the occupation. The ICJ? In 2004 all ICJ judges--including a Holocaust survivor--issued an advisory opinion declaring all of the post '67 settlements illegal. Just a few weeks ago the UN GA convened for another plenary meeting in which Israel, the US and the UK were the only countries in the world to veto resolutions concerning the granting of independence to colonial 'countries and peoples'. And now we have a many Latin American countries openly recognizing the Palestinian state along those same principles. IS the whole world anti-Semitic, or could it be that Israel is wrong on this issue?
