The IDF may have bombed Lebanon back by over 20 years, but our 'leaders' have taken Israel back by far more than that. The unwise use of force is one of the worst mistakes that Israel has made: whether by 1-ton bombs on civilian areas, or by blasting Lebanese infrastructure - incidentally, not a word has been heard from the Environment Minister, Gidon Ezra, about the futile bombing of Lebanese oil tanks and the resulting marine pollution. There is it seems an argument about whether we had "no choice" - there are ALWAYS choices - but Olmert, Peretz and Halutz 'locked' onto the first and 'simplest' solution - firepower. Now, our leadership should accept that they have "no choice" - they should go - pure and simple.
