'The prison walls don't keep out the change underway today in society about breaking the silence of sexual assault victims,' says therapy group leader Tamar Krock-Zamir.16:16 29.04.16 | 0 comments
I was in Israel last week after two years absence. I was shocked by the enormous destruction of the landscape. gigantic highways (431) suddenly cross previously unique landscapes. Monsterous highrises are put in areas that ten years ago were uninhabited. Israel today looks like a US state, highways, shopping malls, garbage scattered over the last remaining gren areas and chaotic urban planning, and rising above all you see big signs of MacDonalds and Superpharm. Yak! I cannot believe why Israelis accept this self destruction. Wasn't Israel the dream come true, the miracle after 2000 years of diaspora?'Didn't thousands of men and women die to protect this unique country? And then treat it with such contempt? Why then destroy the last remaining pardesim, orange grooves in sted of (finally) building the cities of the Negev or densifying the cities? Where is the respect for your own land?
