I agree (as an Ashkenaz!) with Benny Ziffer 100%. However I would like to add that it appears to be absolutely amazing that the ladies who got the prize were of an age well past the time that they should have got their well deserved prize! Why did they have to wait so long when he male winners were (in general) younger and were almost unknown to the general public?! I want to repeat that I also find it unbelievably impossible that so many of our brilliant SephardiMizrachi were (and have been in the past) thoroughly ignored! I find this highly repugnant!
