Israel is a military based regime that has fomented wars since it inception to acquire water (40% of Israel's water today comes from occupied lands) and land to cleanse for Jewish settlements. The current military build up by Israel will only lead to Israel's neighbors doing the same to counter the threat that Israel poses and lead eventually to a nuclear armed Middle East. And as Israel regurgitates its old war mongering leaders like Barak for another round of aggression, it is only dooming itself as more weapons will never bring peace, and without peace you can never have security and without both Israel will never reach its potential as a nation. The current Israeli policies have failed to let Israel grow as a nation, keeping it instead in a constant state of war, while its society is crumbling from within, its leaders corrupt and its image in the world one of distain. Not exactly the light unto nations that one hoped for or expected.
