We can't keep sending him to jail when he constantly intentionally defies the terms of his release he does it so much. We can't let him leave because we don't know what he still has to say and the last thing we need is him on the international lecture circuit getting paid millions to give lectures about Israels nuclear program and what he wants to see and how hard done by he feels. We don't need 100 different biographies of Mordachi Vanunu on how badly Israel treated him. The man betrayed his country and is lucky he didn't get a bullet in the head back in the 80s in many other countries he would be executed or at the very least be in jail until the day he died. I imagine the US soldier who has been passing documents to wikileaks will be getting alot worse than 18 years. You have Vanunu who really did betray his country and you have Yigal Amir who murdered 1 man he just happened to be Rabin. The government constantly say he is going to be behind bars till the day he dies and has spent the last 15 years in solitary and every request to be moved out of solitary is denied and he doesn't even have any secrets to tell. Compared to him Vanunu has had an easy ride. Long term the only way for Israel to solve the problem with Vanunu is for Shin Bet to help him have a little accident.
