PM Erdogan has become embroiled in a political situation not unknown to some. The populist statements are more for domestic consumption than many tend to agree to. The truth is that Mr.Erdogan is playing his last cards with the Turkish Military. Strange as it may seem, the President of Syria has noticed said hand. Turkey is an integral part of NATO. The Turkish Military will not withstand another round of condemnation or lose its position as a key player in said community. The point here, is that Syria knows only to well where the true hand lies. One cannot therefore discount that Syria has come of political age. Pity that Mr.Edorgan has bedded with Tehran and forgotten his people. Strange enough, it will be Syria that will redirect this malady by Mr. Erdogan, for Syria will not allow another non secular state on its border, after the ultimate fall of Iraq, which will no doubt come about soon enough. For the uninitiated, Syria is secular. Such is the ME political minefield. Good night.
