As such, we can assume that these Israeli attacks are a deliberate attempt to create a casus belli, and is used to escalate, and presumably to tire out Hamas. This always fails. The alternative solution, a peaceful arrangement, is never considered because Hamas isn't as pliable as the PLO. In these machinations, Israel can count on the West forgetting the connection between the cause and the effect. And so it goes.
