How immense has the change in Israel been over the last 30 years? The 'delegitimization campaign' is not an external event. It is the actions of Israel, growing ever worse, over the last 30 years. What started with Arik Sharon's invasion of Lebanon in a botched attempt to 'remake the political map of the middle-east, has degenerated to the Second Lebanon War, Cast Lead, and the Netanyahu government. There is no question who Israel's worst enemy is. It is Israel. More specifically Israel's right, which has managed to alienate the entire world with it's dreams of Greater Israel strength through endless war. Bradley Burston wrote today of how Goldstone benefits Israel. That ANYONE might compare how what was once the worlds most moral army handled Operation Defensive Shield, the attack upon Jenin 8 years ago; with the Second Lebanon War and Cast Lead. The comparison reveals just how Israel has changed. Israel has renounced much of what it once stood for.
