Make no mistake about it. What Israel is today stems from its foundation. Israel is a failed "Jewish" Utopia. The Socialist founders of very little Jewishness attempted a "Jewish" Socialist State using manipulated Western models. As the West continues to "Socialize" itself into elitist led and highly corrupt Oligarchies, Israel's future is and was sealed. This is what one can expect when morality, logic, reason for "political correctness". Israel ranks next to Britain in corruption just behind America. The comment: "Makes no sense. Israel is a Middle Eastern country. It does not belong in the group considered western. It does not belong in the European Song Contest. Neither its geographical position nor its behaviour makes its western. Primitive semi-theocracy / semi-military 'democracy'. Nothing western about it." is a "semi" fair comment. Whomever wrote it was absolutely 100% correct concerning it's geological position and should not be included in any European contest. That said the comment about its "behavior" makes no sense whatsoever. There was a time when England had rockets and bombings and their response was sending 1000 planes and wiping out - I believe it was - Hamburg causing thousands of civilian casualties. Due to Israel's similar political and socio-military structure as Switzerland, I would be almost 100% confident in saying that if tiny Switzerland was surrounded by a sea of Muslim countries actively seeking her demise Switzerland too would quickly convert to a "semi-military 'democracy'". Lastly, Israel's not at all a semi-theocracy at all but a defunct attempt at combining Socialism with a European/American sense of Democratic structure..... My two cents...
